My flock is NPIP certified #1446. Please know that I am in Illinois, so my birds are only tested for Pullorum Typhoid. All birds are healthy when they leave. Once birds leave my hands, I am no longer in control. The ONLY time I will refund is if a bird arrives deceased or I will offer a replacement if you would prefer. Anything after 24 hours is no longer in my control. If you cancel the sale, please know that you’re forfeiting that money.  But I would be more than happy to put 50% of that towards next time. EGGS ARE A CHANCE FOR CHICKS NOT A GUARANTEE. I DO NOT refund for poor hatch rate, as that is a risk you take when you agree to purchase shipped eggs. I will however, give a replacement dozen if nothing hatches. Please know that there is a chance to hatch all 3 colors of Owlbeards and Phoenix (Goldens) from my eggs. I will not refund for this. I also will not refund for DQs out of my silkie pens. You can however sell these chicks to help get some of that money back. Also know that if you buy eggs, they probably will not be spotless. Chickens live outside and have access to mud/dirt, however these eggs still absolutely will hatch. I hatch from these same eggs and have wonderful hatch rates.

 All live birds are going to be shipped through USPS priority express with an Air Tag for more precise tracking so in the off chance they get lost, we know who to start calling. This additional $30 will be refunded after the Air Tag arrives back to me. They will be in a pre-paid envelope that all you have to do if turn it back in at the counter as you’re picking up your bird(s) from the post office.

I will be vetting everyone and have a right to cancel a sale at any time if I deem it is not a good fit. I do NOT let confirmed boys go to towns where roosters are not permitted or go to places I do not believe they will thrive in. I value my lines and am picky who gets them. If you…

1. Don’t have a proper set up

2. Don’t have a brooder with a proper heat source when buying chicks, or any other clear evidence of insufficient care

3. Live somewhere roosters are not permitted but trying to add them anyway

4. Don’t pick up from the post office within a reasonable time frame

5. Bird flip (again I will be vetting everyone)

6. Removing leg/wing bands when they are meant to be permanent

7. Treating birds as “disposable "or constantly losing them to disease/predators…

Then I would ask that you please find your babies from another source. I love every life that I help bring into this world and I would rather keep everyone than let them go to a new environment that I am not comfortable with. Every life is precious and deserves the love and respect by going places I know will give them the same love and care I do with all of mine. I put so much work into breeding the breeds & varieties I specialize in, so I want to know who they are going to. I know every name that I’ve ever let birds go to. I offer a lifetime of support for anyone who ever gets birds from me, and I will be there every step of the way. PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask questions!
